WWII Italian army wool blanket Regio Esercito Italiano

Description

This is an original WWII Italian army blanket, as used from the WWI period into the 1950s (as I have been told) by Italian Army enlisted soldiers.
It's heavyweight (around five pounds each), tightly-woven wool, in gray/brown/olive, with cream colored stripes, and edge stitching. It measures
approximately
five feet by six foot six inches. No damage or holes or etc. that I can find, only two small black ink (?) spots (see last photo).
