Description
Very pretty vintage cuff bracelet is gold tone and holds an 8mm shell cameo mounted on a leaf design. Front is 1/2" wide with 1/4" bands leading to a 1-1/4" opening at the back. Inside diameter is 2-1/8".
Cameos are always excellent fashion accessory choices to reflect the gentle, romantic periods in our history. The term cameo originally meant carving a design into a single material in bas-relief. They were usually done using shell, stone or other suitable materials. More modern cameos feature laser, early plastics and composition for the carving base. Clean your cameos gently, using a brush or canned-air for crevices. Watch out for temperature changes that can cause cracking especially in gemstone or shell and always put your jewelry on after any sprays or oils.

Most of our items are vintage or used unless we tell you otherwise. Expect the item to be in "Vintage" as found condition. For jewelry items, this includes the "softening" of vintage stones as well as normal age patina presentation and normal or vintage wear. will come boxed ready for storing or gifting. If you buy multiple items, let us know if you want separate boxes for each item. (This will increase postage costs).
Minor surface cleaning may be performed but we do not thoroughly clean our items Or do repairs

, leaving that to the preference of the buyer. If there are any serious problems that reflect excess wear, damage, visible repairs, or concern, we will try to include it in the description. I do try to identify unmarked metals or stones but I am not a gemologist and cannot guarantee unmarked items. All items are sold as found in vintage age appropriate condition.
