Vintage Decorative Ceramic Spoon Rest/Thermometer ~ French Quarter, New Orleans

Very good overall condition. No cracks or chips. Photos are of the actual item you will receive. Measures 8 1/4" tall x 4 3/4" wide x 3/4" deep

This is at least 45 years old (I know because it hung in my mother's kitchen for at least this long). I believe it is a souvenir that my grandmother bought on vacation to New Orleans in the 1950's. The text is "Kitchen Prayer" on the left and a short poem titled "My House" on the right.
