Rare limited edition Grateful Dead SunshineDaydream Box Set Veneta Oregon 8/27/1972 3 CD 1 DVD near mintThis beautiful, rare, limited edition box set is in near-mint condition. As shown in photos #6 & #7, this is unit #2543 of the total of 12,500.
The pristine cardboard sleeve (photos 1-5) shows the original Tie-Dye Mandala Art of Courtenay Pollock.
The box set includes 3 CDs within the Sunshine Daydream insert (shown in photo #2) with t
he lineup of the Grateful Dead for this concert (and for all their concerts from July 1972 to October 1974) includies Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Keith Godchaux, Donna Godchaux and Bill Kreutzmann. The show was a benefit for the Springfield Creamery in nearby Springfield, Oregon with the Merry Pranksters' Ken Kesey and Ken Babbs emceeing the concert. The Dead played all afternoon and into the dark.

This folder also includes a pristine DVD insofar as the concert was filmed using four
16 mm
cameras, in the woods of the Oregon Coast Range foothills, on the grounds of the
Oregon Country Fair

The four 16mm cameras were synced to the sound, and remained focused on the stage, along with two additional roaming cameras for crowd shots. Please see photo #11 for the content of the DVD.
The lot also includes an insert, Venetia, Oregon -- the cover of this pamphlet is shown in photo #2 and the contents includes essays and dozens of photos with the five sections shown in photo #12.
