New Orleans Map by Myro Zimmerman, 1942, original, map of New Orleans Jackson Square. The map shows sites and historical events of significance. Beautiful colors and the use of foliage and a blue wrought iron decorative motif border. It also includes some aspects of rural Louisiana life around the outer border. The phrase on the map reads "Le Vieux Carre´ de la Nouvelle Orleans", translated as "The Old Square of New Orleans". Fun and educational, and of course, beautiful. Crisp colors.
