    Description

The posted Buy-it-Now price is for one (1) brandy, wine, goblet or cocktail glass
    (named "
    On the Rocks
    ")
    in the
    Hang Ups
pattern # 3029 by Morgantown Glassware Guild - West Virginia, USA. This 5 1/4" glass is in great, damage-free condition - no fleabites, chips, stains, cloudiness, discoloration or repairs.
    I also have
    a second
    On the Rocks
glass to sell; as well as 1 footed cylindrical-shaped
    Bloody Mary
    glass in this same pattern
(glad to combine multiple purchases to save you on shipping)
. Final posted photo shows all 3
    Hang Up
glasses - if you'd like them listed, just send me a message.
    A short production time
    (1970-1972)
    and limited pieces/stems
(just these 2 offered stems - On the Rocks & the Cocktail Tumbler/Bloody Mary glass)
makes Hang ups a challenge to find in today's market. Hang Ups was one of the final patterns produced under the name of Morgantown Glassware, which closed its doors for good in 1971.
    I presume Hangups are
so-named because the glasses can be easily stored upside down from a hanging wine rack.
In researching this pattern, I found the following interesting information on Worthpoint.com:
    Hang Ups
were produced by Morgantown after it was acquired by Fostoria (1965). The bowls were manufactured in the 1960's by Morgantown and the intriguing tripod pedestal foot was created by Fostoria and then fused. The [On the Rocks] glass stands 5-1/4" tall. The rounded bowl of the glass is clear and the base is a smokey or steel blue color........
You won't be seeing these at your friend's home. If you love mid-century design, you probably have a chair in your home with a similar pedestal base.......
The sophisticated style of this line will work perfectly with Mid Century Modern, Danish, Space Age, Atomic & Retro alike.

    QUESTIONS
: Please use eBay's message system
SHIPPING: IF FedEx Ground/Home is not the default shipping option, it may be a cheaper option for you IF YOU LIVE ON THE WEST COAST OR FAR FROM MARYLAND.. Because I pass on my eBay FEDEX shipping discount directly to my Buyers, FedEx is often the cheapest shipping option. However, IF you live close to Maryland, USPS shipping may be the cheaper option. YOU can switch from FEDEX to USPS shipping or visa versa. If you use USPS, I usually upgrade shipping - at my expense - (from Parcel Select to PRIORITY).
    DELIVERY TIME
    : Generally,  a
    two day
handling period is incorporated into your estimated delivery time.
IF you need your item by a specific date,
    please, please
    SEND ME A MESSAGE.
    I
    will
always do whatever I can to accommodate ANY shipping request received.
    RETURNS
: EBay penalizes Sellers financially for selecting a "no return" policy; but my policy remains:
    I do
    not
    accept returns
    .....
    unless
: I have made some substantive misrepresentation regarding a sold item (
    or
some other obvious error)  If I make such a mistake, I will readily refund ALL monies paid,  including shipping, immediately upon the item's safe return to me
    or
    sooner.
    Why
    not
    accept returns?
Returns are extremely time-consuming - for
    both
Buyer and Seller. More troubling, is that often returns are
    avoidable
. In an effort to eliminate
    my
    Buyers' need to
    make
returns in the first place, I strive to provide exceptionally informative listings. My listings include clear, accurate and detailed item descriptions paired with multiple, carefully chosen photos - photos of the exact item being sold. These photos are taken and selected to convey specific detail/s, often detail impossible to convey in a brief written description.. Photos are taken from various angles and distances., under  varied lighting conditions.  Each photo is
    unique
and is posted for a specific reason. Creating such listings is also extremely time-consuming, but I believe a much wiser use of time than is processing returns.
Therefore, I operate under the belief that - if an item listing is sufficiently thorough, so long as the Buyer has
    read the entire description
    and carefully
    viewed all posted photos,
then any need for return is practically obliterated.
