Description

Imagine red hot lava flow plunging into the ocean, turning black upon contact with the water. Thus is the Lava Gong, the red hot bronze casting coming from the forge and being tempered in water.
The Lava Gong is an unlathed Chau Gong, with a crust reminiscent of hardened lava. It has a strong fundamental tone and minimal crash. The Lava Gong has a very long resonance and sustained sound.
