Guinea 5,000 Francs, 2015, P-49a.1, UNC

Description

This uncirculated 5,000 Guinean franc was introduced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea in 2015 and was signed by Karamokoba Camara and Lounceny Nabe. It is a purple, green, red, and blue note that measures 140 mm long and 65 mm wide. Its obverse side contains French text, a portrait of a woman with a cimier hairstyle, pigeons taking flight, and the national emblem. Its reverse side shows the map of Guinea, the Kinkon Dam, and a cob of corn. Security features include a bank logo registration device, a 3-mm red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 5000, and a watermark of a woman with a cimier hairstyle, RG, and Cornerstones.
