    Description

    This Guinea 1000 Franc banknote from 2010 was released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Guinean currency. Its front design depicts a portrait of a woman with a plaits hairstyle along with the 50th-anniversary logo and the national emblem. The reverse side features two dump trucks and a steam shovel at an open-pit bauxite mine and a traditional mask. The security features of the note include a windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 1000 and a watermark image of a woman with plaits, electrotype RG, and cornerstones.
