F137S: SHORT NIPPLE VALVE WITH 12MM-1.75 THREADS WITH LEVER CLIP
The Standard with short nipple is for hose connection while also saving valuable space. Use our SH-10 straight socket or the SL-10 elbow socket to connect with your hose.
Now the S-Series Fumoto® Valve comes with our tool-free lever clip! The Fumoto Engine Oil Drain's spring assisted ball valve replaces your standard issue oil drain plug and makes oil changes easier, cleaner, and less time consuming. Benefits of installing Fumoto valve include:

Installation
Remove original drain plug and drain oil into appropriate receptacle.
Insert Engine Oil Drain Valve and gasket into drain plug port and tighten.
Make sure valve is closed and refill crankcase.
*A good rule of thumb is to install the valve by hand and then tighten an additional 1/8 - 1/4 turn with a wrench on the body.
Do not over tighten. Do not tighten the valve at the hex head
(found at the base of the nipple) - this can compromise the integrity of the valve and lead to damages.

Some oil pans are designed with a recessed drain hole which may prevent the valve from being installed properly.
If the valve cannot be tightened all the way without hitting the oil pan wall, do not install the Drain Valve on your vehicle. Adapters are available for some models.
Operation
To open lift control lever and turn counter-clockwise 90 degrees.
To close simply turn the lever clockwise 90 degrees until locked in original position.
Safety
Drive carefully at all times, and if you run over any foreign object on the road pull over and check the valve for any damage or leak. N-Series valve (with nipple to accept hose) is not recommended for passenger cars with low clearance.
