Beautiful Vintage High Relief Repoussé Black Glass Cameo Brooch

Lovely vintage ornate silver metal alloy and high relief black glass cameo brooch. This beautiful pin is 1 1/2” high by 2” wide and weighs 14.1 grams. It features an opaque black glass repoussé high relief lovely woman in profile facing a spray of pretty flowers. This rich black opaque glass has a highly polished finish. It is raised around the edges and curves inward with the cameo design raised in relief. The cameo sits in a a very pretty, nicely detailed silver frame with a spring ring pin back that works very well. This cameo is in very good vintage condition with no damage other than very minor surface wear and/or oxidation. There are a couple of very tiny nicks on the raised edge of the cameo glass, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of this piece. This brooch was found at an estate sale in Northwestern Iowa in the 1960’s. Any display items pictured are not included.
