    Description

    GRATEFUL DEAD VANDOR BUS COOKIE JAR W/ TRUNK
    This one is number 5121 of 10,000. It is nice but not perfect. The flaws are the roses on the top front of the bus are all broken off. The roses on the back top are good. There are also some small paint chips in the grill and around the headlights. The solid bodied storage truck that the cookie jar will be packed in is a nice addition. The total weight of the cookie jar and the storage trunk is 8 pounds. The storage trunk is a very nice solid sided item and the style just seems to fit with the cookie jar. However, it is not an actual piece associated with the collectible cookie jar.
    So, here are some bad news. Since there were only 10,000 of these made originally, that meant there were only 200 available for every state. That was 20 + years ago. Now, estimating that probably 20 to 30% or more of these have now been broken, destroyed in natural disasters or whatever, that means that every year that percentage is going to go higher and higher and there will be less of these to be had. I am now too old to hang on to this, so this someone else's opportunity to grab a collectible investment to enjoy for a big part of their life before passing it on. Thank you.

    Any sales tax collected is collected by eBay and paid direct by them to the respective taxing districts and not by us.
