1945 Vintage Souvenir "Postcard" Foldout New Orleans LA. St. Louis Cathedral
This has a postmark of  January 1945 and a 2 cent stamp with wheat on it (red with words Nations United for Victory). The outside cover has a nice view of the front of the cathedral and the back has a nice view of Jackson square. Inside, the fold outs are all artwork the depicts the stained glass windows and murals in the cathedral. There is text about the history of the cathedral's windows and the murals. There are 16 panels in all and they are in very nice condition since they have been protected by the outside cover.
​A funny note is that the recipient lived in Covington Georgia and the post office delivered this first to Covington Louisiana (just across the lake from New Orleans) and there is a hand stamp that indicates this. Someone had to have made the stamp to put on the folder's cover! Thusly there are multiple cancellation marks on the cover of this.
