1900's ROWLAND & MARSELLUS New Orleans Canal Street Blue Plate Souvenir 10"
This eBay listing is for a wonderful antique Rowland & Marsellus Co (R&M) blue transferware collectible plate from the early 1900's that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above.   Most of these plates were made around 1905-1910 and this one looks to be in good condition for it's age.   This hard to find plate measures 10" across and features various scenes from New Orleans including Canal Street with old trolly cars and horse drawn carriages, St Louis Cathedral, Lee monument, City Hall, Levee scene, French opera house and more.   The plate would look great on display or framed but does have a small underrim flea bite that you can't see from the top of the plate.
